エ☆ミリー 吉元

Emily Yoshimoto was born in Tokyo in 1993. She is a manga editor and since 2015 is the manager for her father, manga artist Baron Yoshimoto, all the while pursuing her own creative activities. She also does exhibition curation, book design, and event planning. In 2022 she joined LEED’s manga label Torch and was the editor for Eldo Yoshimizu’s RYUKO. In recent years she has been sharing information on the problem of preserving manga manuscripts. Emily studied abroad at the School of Visual Arts (US) and Loughborough University (UK) as an exchange student, and graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2015. Her most recent exhibtion curation was “Baron Yoshimoto GEKIGACORE” at GR2 Gallery in Los Angeles, California in 2020.
